Dec. 25 – 31. Melisende, dei providentia Ierosolimorum regina, with the agreement of her sons Baldwin rex and Amalricus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the church of St John the Baptist of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem. She gives the casale of Beroeht and its agricolae, as it was at the time of the siege of Antioch. She makes this gift to augment the refreshment [refectio] of the poor, to ensure that while she lives her gift will be remembered with a feast for the poor and those who serve them at Easter, and that the day of her death be commemorated each year during Eastertide.
