1122 – Dec. 25 1156. [74] Peter the Venerable, abbot of Cluny, praises the efforts of a king of Jerusalem to defend the Holy Land against Turci, Sarraceni, Persae and Arabes. He commends Drogo Niuernensis aecclesiae precentor to him.

[74] Giles Constable (in Peter the Venerable, Letters 2:153) thinks it likely that the king involved was either Fulk or Baldwin III, which would date the letter to 1131-56.
