Melisende, dei gratia Ierosolimorum regina, with the agreement of her son Baldwin, dei providentia Latinorum Ierusalem rex quartus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, giving the leprosary of St Lazarus of Jerusalem [conventus leprosorum Ierusalem] the gastina called Bethanan, the boundaries of which were established by domnus Rohardus Ierosolimitanus. It is between that part of Mahomeria held by Geraudus cognomine Regis, and that part held by frater Angerannus, and it stretches along the road [via] as far as the cava.
