*Early Summer. King Baldwin III exchanges [for lordships in Samaria] all the land in Transjordan [trans fluvium Iordanem] that Balduinus Hulrici vicecomitis Neapolitani filius had inherited from his father Hulricus, including the castellum Vallis Moysis, together with all villani, Suriani or Sarraceni, on either side of the River Jordan, except for those villani that Balduinus had settled on his land ‘ad ignem et focum hospitatos locatos et manentes in die illa’.
