Dec. 25 1160 - Aug. 31 1161. In the presence of Patriarch Amalric, Petrus Tyrensis archiepiscopus, together with his chapter, makes an eleemosynary grant, giving dominus Nicholaus Sancti Sepulcri prior and the convent of the Holy Sepulchre the entire tithe of a casale called Derina, which the canons possess. Any appurtenance of the casale which the canons acquire will be freed from the tithe. Petrus also gives the tithe of an enclosed viridarium between the wall and forewall of Tyre [inter murum et ejus antemurale], with a berquilium. He confirms their possession of the church of St Mary, which was the first cathedral of Tyre, saving the dignity of the mother church. Witnesses: A[malricus] patriarcha; dominus Amicus Sancti Sepulcri prepositus; dominus Gottifridus thesaurarius; dominus Rainaldus canonicus Tyrensis; magister Girardus canonicus Tyrensis; dominus Willelmus canonicus Tyrensis.
