Dec. 25 1143 - Feb. 10 1163. With the agreement of the king [Baldwin III] and his heirs and relations, Morage Raiz, forced by the need to meet debts to the king, sells the canons of the Holy Sepulchre part [pars] of his house, in which he used to have a mill [molendinum], for 120 besants and 12 modii of grain. The canons bought the house to add to their stationes next door, which they had acquired in an exchange with the Hospital of St John. They will have the right to make improvements, by inserting pillars and vaultings and by closing up doors, windows and water pipes.
