Summer. Amalric, per Dei gratiam Jerosolymorum rex, writes to Archbishop H. of Reims. He urges the restoration of peace between the king of England and his sons, particularly as the king of England has notified him, by letter and emissaries, of his desire to assist the Holy Land unless prevented by this disturbance. Amalric is sending the bishop of Lydda and the subprior of the Holy Sepulchre to expand orally on what he has written.
