1100 – 1134. At the request of the brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, Bernard, first Latin patriarch of Antioch, gives them a place [locus] in front of their hospitium in the neighbourhood [in circuitu] of [the church] of St Mary, where they can build a stable. But because the ownership of this site still belongs to the cathedral of Antioch [ecclesia Beati Petri], the Hospitallers will pay the patriarch and his church a census of 2 besants a year.
