Dec. 25 1151 – Dec. 24 1152. Mauricius Montis Regalis possessor et dominus, gives the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem properties in his lordship, comprising: the casale called Benisalem; a Surianus called Caissardus filius Tamini, with all his relations and property; a house, situated between his house and the house of the viscount of Nablus; some land, situated between the vineyard of Seguinus and the land of Guillelmus Asinus, on which to plant vines; a tithe of all goods and loot he takes from the Muslims [Sarraceni], whether they have truces with him or not, once the [cathedral church] of St Mary has had its tithe; a casale called Cansir, situated in the land of Moab, in the territory of Cracum; a tower at Cracum, situated on the left hand side as one enters through the castle gate, and a barbican, situated between two walls so that it extends from that tower to the tower of St Mary; a boat [navis] to transport whatever the Hospitallers want across the Dead Sea without the payment of any dues; land next to the vineyard of Johannes Castellanus, bordered by the Great Road [magnum iter] and the vineyard of Mauricius. Witnesses: Johannes castellanus; Seguinus; Rabellus; Stephanus de Arens; Ayraldus castellanus Montis Regalis; Martinus vicecomes; Johannes Tiberiadis; Assenardus frater Templi Domini; Johannes Crassus; Gauterius Parmentarius; Simon de la Carta.
