*Nov. 18 1145 – Jul. 8 1153. Pope Eugenius III writes to the patriarch of Jerusalem and the canons of the Holy Sepulchre, and the bishops of Beirut, Sidon and Tortosa. He judges in the dispute involving the patriarchs of Jerusalem and Antioch, and the archbishop[s] of Tyre [and Petra] [67] over the suffragans of the archbishop of Tyre, declaring that the bishops of Beirut, Sidon and Tortosa should be subject to the patriarch of Antioch.
