[90] Nothing is known about this assise. Perhaps, given the later assise of King Amalric on the marriage of fief-holders to heretics, it related to heresy. Prawer (Crusader Institutions, pp. 467-8), misreading the text as assise de noblesse, hypothesized that this was a reference to the établissement on the confiscation of fiefs, but that must be attributed to King Baldwin II. See Riley-Smith, ‘Further Thoughts on Baldwin II’s établissement’, pp. 178-9.
