Feb. 8. Benevento. Pope Alexander III, following his predecessors Popes Paschal II, Innocent II, Lucius II, Anastasius II and Adrian IV, confirms for Patriarch Amalric of Jerusalem his rights in all cities and provinces conquered by the kings of Jerusalem, Baldwin I, Baldwin II, Fulk, Baldwin III and Amalric. He refers particularly to tithes, churches and other rights in Jericho, Daron and Nablus and in places in which bishops once ruled and no longer do so.
