B[ali]anus [Ne]apolitanus domnus, with the agreement of King Baldwin IV [and] his brother, pledges his assisia of 1000 besants at Ascalon, which he holds of Sibylla Ioppes et Ascalonę comitissa, to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem for 2 years, until the Hospitallers have gained 2000 besants from the assisia. Sybilla Ioppes et Asscalone comitissa confirms the pledge under seal. Witnesses: Ioscelinus de Samosac Ascalone castellanus; Rogerius de Verduno; Gerardus de Rimeilleio.
