Sept. 10. Jerusalem. Baldwin, per gratiam dei in sancta civitate Ierusalem Latinorum rex sextus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, with the agreement of Gvido Ioppensium et Ascalonitanorum comes and his wife Sibilla, the king’s sister. The king confirms the sale by Hugo Flandrensis, with the consent of Baldvinus Ramatensis domnus, to Rogerius magister and the brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem of a casale called Chola, situated in the territory of Mirabellum, for 3000 besants. Witnesses: Reinaldus Sydonensis domnus; Petrus de Cresecca castellanus Ierusalem; Simon de Betlehem; Girardus Passerel; Raimundus Babini; Anselmus de Capitel; Robertus de Pinquenni; Petrus Girberti; Petrus de Sancto Lazaro; of the brothers of the Hospital, Petrus Galterii; frater Stephanus; frater Sancho; frater Salomon; frater Arnaldus. The charter was drawn up by Willelmus Tyrensis archiepiscopus regisque cancellarius.
