Jan. 20. Lateran. The archbishop of Nicosia, representing himself and his suffragans, has informed the pope of the presence in the Cypriot dioceses of Suriani, Iacobini, Nestorini and others, [327] who are not obedient to the Roman Church. Pope Honorius III orders in one letter the patriarch of Jerusalem, the archbishop of Caesarea and the bishop of Bethehem, and in another the archbishop of Caesarea, the bishop of Acre and P. thesaurarius Cesariensis, to compel these people to subject themselves to their diocesan authorities.
