Hearing that the abbey of St Mary of the Latins has become corrupt and extravagant, Pope Gregory IX orders the bishop of Tortosa [episcopus Anteradensis], the abbas of St Samuel in Acre, the prior Sancti Aegidii Acconensis, the abbas of Mt Tabor and the abbas of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat to reform it.
