Jul. 14. Bohemond [of Taranto], son of Robert Guiscard, duke of Apulia, gives the Genoese in the city of Antioch the church of St John, which is in the street that runs directly to the basilica of St Peter; a market [fondicum] and a well; and 30 houses which are in the piazza [platea] adjoining the church of St John. He confirms all gifts of customs or rights [consuetudines vel rectitudines] that have been, or will be, given by others in Antioch and its dependencies.
