Godfrey of Bouillon gives the Pisans a quarter [with church, piazza and palazzo] in every principal town in the kingdom of Jerusalem, with their own jurisdiction, freedoms from dues and the right to their goods if shipwrecked. The Pisan consuls are to have a stipend of 300 gold besants a year from the camera regia.
