At the request of Guido abbas of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, Baldwin, dei gratia in sancta Ierusalem Latinorum rex quartus, confirms under seal King Baldwin II’s confirmation for the abbey [Dec. 25 1129 – Jun. 12 1130], with the following changes: the addition of cisterns to Godfrey of Bouillon’s grant of property outside Jerusalem; the addition of 2 carucae of land, given by Balduinus [de Ram]is in territorio Ramensi; and the right of the abbey’s men to buy and sell without payment of thelonaria throughout the kingdom of Jerusalem. Baldwin, per gratiam dei in sancta Hierusalem Latinorum rex quartus, at the request of Queen Melisende his mother, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant, confirming Melisende’s gift to the abbot Willelmus and the monks of the abbey of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat of a casale called Cafracos, situated not far from Ascar, with the exception of a particula already given to a turcopolus, on condition that Mass is solemnly celebrated by a priest for her benefit and that of her relations. Witnesses: Humfredus de Torone constabularius; Galterius de Sancto Audemaro castellanus, nunc domnus Tyberiadensis; Gormundus Tyberiadensis; Guillelmus marescalcus regis; Guillelmus marescalcus Tyberiadensis; Odo de Sancto Amando; Ottho de Risberge; Galterius de Guella.
