text: Apr. 21-30. Acre. Frederick, dei gratia Romanorum imperator semper augustus, Ierusalem et Sicilie rex, records that frater Hermannus magister domus sancte Marie [Theotonicorum] in Ierusalem and Iacobus de Amigdala came into his presence [and that of the curia regni Ierosolimitani] and asked for a confirmation of an agreement made between them. Casale Mebelye was given to Iacobus in exchange for casale Trefile and castrum novum, called Montfort, which the brothers of the Hospital of St Mary of the Germans have fortified, and a garden and a mill that are dependencies of Trefile. These had been inherited by Iacobus from his mother, the daughter of comes Iozolinus. In his curia Frederick issues a sealed confirmation of the exchange. Appreciative of the support he has always received from the Pisans, Frederick restores their liberties, salvo iure regni nostri Hierosolimitani.
