Rogerius Ramathensis episcopus, at the advice and with agreement of his chapter of St George [of Lydda], at the admonition of Patriarch Arnulf of Jerusalem and at the request and with the agreement of King Baldwin I, makes an eleemosynary grant, giving Hugo abbas and the church of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat a deserted casale called Sephoria; a house within his castle [castrum] and another in the mahumaria, and 4 carrucae of arable land in front of his castle.
