text: Dec. 25 1133 – Aug. 31 1134. Patriarch William of Jerusalem has given Sancta Quarantena, with all that belongs to it, to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre. With the advice and consent of Patriarch William and Petrus prior, the canons have chosen Rainaldus, one of themselves, to be prior of Sancta Quarantena. He is to remain a canon of the Holy Sepulchre and will be subject to the prior and canons there. His successors will be appointed by the canons of the Holy Sepulchre. Rainaldus has the right to enlarge the priory and increase the size of the community at Sancta Quarantena. The deed is confirmed and sealed by Patriarch William. text: Mar. 15. With the agreement of Patriarch William, Bernardus and his wife Haoisa sell their house in the city of Jerusalem to Petrus prior and the canons of the Holy Sepulchre for 200 besants. The house is bordered by a house of the canons which once belonged to Willelmus drugomannus, the church of St Chariton, the via publica and the house of Theodorus. Anyone who challenges this falsely will be excommunicated and will be liable to a fine of a pound of gold payable to the royal treasury [in fiscum regium auri libram persolvat].
