To the east of the gardens is the mill of the king. To the west is the land of the Hospital of St Mary of the Germans, to the south is the flumen Acconensis and to the north the public way. On one side of them is the house of the royal curia [domus curie regalis]. On the other is the house of Hugo de Calderaria. The entries to the houses face the platea next to the city fosse. He also gives all his military equipment [harnesium militare], in horses, arms, robes and other things, on condition that he has the use of these while he lives. He wishes after his death to be treated as a brother in funeral and burial. The deed is sealed, at his request, by Radulfus Acconensis episcopus.
