At the request of Guido abbas of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, Baldwin, dei gratia in sancta Ierusalem Latinorum rex quartus, confirms under seal King Baldwin II’s confirmation for the abbey [Dec. 25 1129 – Jun. 12 1130], with the following changes: the addition of cisterns to Godfrey of Bouillon’s grant of property outside Jerusalem; the addition of 2 carucae of land, given by Balduinus [de Ram]is in territorio Ramensi; and the right of the abbey’s men to buy and sell without payment of thelonaria throughout the kingdom of Jerusalem. Witnesses: Petrus archiepiscopus Tyrensis; Balduinus archiepiscopus Cesariensis; Ebrardus magister Templi; Andreas de Monte Barro; Radulfus de Patingiis; Symon Tyberia[densis; Philippus Ne]apolitanus; Hugo de Hibelino; Clarembaldus vicecomes Achonensis; Paganus [de] Uoh vicecomes Ierosolimitanus; Balduinus de Insula; Sada marescalcus; Gocelinus Pesellus. The charter was drawn up by Radulfus cancellarius.
