Leon, Dei gratia rex Armenie, makes a sealed pledge [in a vifgage] of all the terra Giguerii for 2 years to frater Garinus de Monte Acuto magister sancte domus Hospitalis Iherosolimitani and the brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem in return for a loan of 20000 Saracen besants of Acre weight to help meet his expenses entailed at the marriage of his daughter to the king of Jerusalem. He lists the dependencies of the terra Giguerii as Abbaessa, Agnyas, Nigrinum, Lacrat, Iugmarzeban, Gardessiam, Iucuteman, Iugmelic, Keniz and the port of Calamella. He grants tablagium and all commercial rights. If the debt is not paid within the term, the Order can hold the land until it is settled.
