text: Aug. 18. Acre. Geraldus Alemannus miles dictus Magnus makes an eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St Mary of the Germans. He gives 2 adjoining houses in the ruga calderariorum in Monmusart. On one side of them is the house of the royal curia [domus curie regalis]. On the other is the house of Hugo de Calderaria. The entries to the houses face the platea next to the city fosse. He also gives all his military equipment [harnesium militare], in horses, arms, robes and other things, on condition that he has the use of these while he lives. He wishes after his death to be treated as a brother in funeral and burial. The deed is sealed, at his request, by Radulfus Acconensis episcopus.
