With the agreement of his chapter, G. primus ecclesiae Petracensis archiepiscopus, seals an agreement with Johannes, abbas of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, over [the tithes of] the abbey’s casalia of Helehel, Bethzard, Perra and Sueme. St Mary will pay the representative in Jerusalem of the church of Petra 12 besants each year. [177] Stéphanie, abbesse of St Mary the Great, and Jean, abbé of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, reach agreement on the extent of their lands, situated in the casalia of Gemerosa, owned by St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and Trakemia, owned by St Mary the Great. The agreement was concluded at the intitative of R., previously prince of Antioch and now in possession of the lordship of Hebron, who oversaw the establishment of the lands’ borders, with the consent of his wife Stéphanie. The agreement is recorded in two charters, sealed respectively by the abbot of St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat and the abbess of St Mary the Great. Witnesses: Johannes Barzela castellanus Sancti Abraham, who established the boundaries; Simon Judex; Letardus de Sancto Abraham; Hugo Normannus; representing the abbot, Willelmus de Sicilia; Stephanus eleemosinarius; Petrus de Sancto Lazaro; Roberti frater; Robertus; representing the abbess, frater Gervasius; F.
