The spoil, gathered from every city which is taken jointly, will be divided, with one-third going to the Venetians and two-thirds to the Franks [Francigenae]. If Tripoli should fall, the spoil shall be equally divided with half going to St Mark, unless the Venetians surrender part to Jerusalem each year in recognition of its sanctity.
