text: Jul. 27 1128 – Jun. 2 1129. Because the heavy duties levied in the port of Acre gravely weigh down pilgrims, Baldwin, dei gratia rex Iherusalem Latinorum secundus, makes an eleemosynary grant at the request of Patriarch Stephen. If the pilgrims assure the custodes portus that the goods are for their own use, no tax will be levied. If necessity forces the pilgrims to sell any surplus in the port, they should pay what is customary and right.Jul. 27 1128 – Jun. 2 1129.
