To free himself and them, Galterius sells under his seal land with a house and a threshing floor [area] next to the common cistern [at Caco] to Raimundus Jherosolimitani Hospitalis magister for 800 besants. The Hospital will hold the land freed from all servitium. The deal is made in the presence of Balduinus Cesariensis archiepiscopus. Galterius had previously bought the land from Petrus drugemannus de Caco for 200 besants. Ansaldus Mallon, Willelmus de Nigro, Lanfranc Piper and Caffaro, the consuls of Genoa, had summoned the sons of Nicolas Embriacus on the grounds that neither Willelmus Embriacus nor his heirs had observed the terms of an agreement over the revenues of Gibellum, Sollinum, Latakia and Antioch for 20 years. The consuls agree to end the case on payment of 300 librae.
