The casale, freed from servitium, passes entirely to Constancia, with the exception of the scribanagium of Georgius de Betheri. Balduinus, Balianus and Johannes Arrabitus are guarantors of the sale. The annual income provided for Guillelmus is specified as: 30 besants, payable in three instalments, and 24 modii of wheat. In addition he receives 9 denarii a week, to meet the cost of oil and wax to illuminate [the relic of] the Holy Cross and 2 candles, 1 besant at each of the feasts of Easter, the Exaltation of the Cross and Christmas, and [the proceeds of] parochial rights within the castle.
